What to expect, from first visit to final session
Knowing the road ahead makes the work easier. Here's how a typical course of rehab runs, what to bring and exactly what it costs.
Six stages of rehab at Amber Hill
- 1
Get in touch
Call, WhatsApp or fill in the form. A therapist calls you back to understand the problem and book the right assessment.
- 2
Assessment
75 to 90 minutes with a senior therapist. We test strength, movement, balance and daily function, and ask what matters most to you.
- 3
Your plan
We agree two or three goals and a timeframe, and explain how many sessions a week will make a real difference.
- 4
Active therapy
Usually two or three one-to-one sessions a week, plus your home exercise plan. This is where the hard work happens.
- 5
Six-week review
We repeat the key tests, compare them with your starting point and show you the numbers. Then we adjust the plan.
- 6
Step down and stay strong
Sessions taper as you improve. You leave with a long-term exercise plan and a free check-in call a month later.
